Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ResourcePilot collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit resourcepilot.co, use the ResourcePilot platform or API, contact us, or purchase a ResourcePilot subscription.

1. Who we are

ResourcePilot is an independent software business based in Pakistan. For information collected directly through our website, platform and support services, ResourcePilot is responsible for how that information is handled, subject to applicable law.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use ResourcePilot, we may collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, account identifiers, plan information and authentication-related data.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, API request metadata, usage counters, integration identifiers, security logs and error information.
  • Support and communications: messages, attachments and information you provide when requesting technical, billing or account assistance.
  • Transaction information: transaction reference, subscription status, product or plan, billing status and limited customer information provided to us by our checkout or payment partners. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
  • Integration data: technical identifiers and configuration information necessary to operate authorized ResourcePilot integrations.

3. How we use information

We use personal information where reasonably necessary to:

  • create and administer accounts and subscriptions;
  • authenticate API requests and provide platform features;
  • measure plan usage and apply technical limits;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve ResourcePilot;
  • provide customer support and respond to requests;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and unauthorized access;
  • maintain transaction, accounting and compliance records;
  • enforce our Terms, licensing rules and legal rights; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations and lawful requests.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, the basis may include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and consent where consent is specifically required.

4. Payments

Payments and checkout services may be provided by third-party commerce and payment providers. Those providers may collect and process information necessary to complete a transaction, verify payment methods, issue receipts, prevent fraud, manage billing and handle applicable transaction taxes.

ResourcePilot receives only the customer and transaction information reasonably needed to activate subscriptions, manage access, provide support, prevent abuse and maintain business records. Full card details are handled by the relevant payment provider and are not stored on ResourcePilot systems.

5. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only where reasonably necessary with:

  • hosting, infrastructure, security and support providers used to operate ResourcePilot;
  • checkout, payment and transaction providers where needed for billing, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention or tax administration;
  • professional advisers where needed for legal, accounting or compliance purposes;
  • government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where disclosure is legally required; or
  • a successor to the ResourcePilot business in connection with a legitimate merger, acquisition, financing or transfer, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

Service providers are expected to process information only for legitimate service purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality or data-protection obligations.

6. International processing

ResourcePilot is operated from Pakistan and uses online service providers that may process data in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an appropriate legal mechanism or rely on another permitted basis for that transfer.

7. Cookies and local storage

The ResourcePilot website may use essential browser storage for functionality such as interface preferences, session management and security. For example, the site's theme preference may be stored locally in your browser. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies that require consent, we will provide the notice and choices required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS, restricted access to credentials, server-side API authentication and operational logging. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, so you should also protect your account credentials and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing an active account, maintaining security and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and meeting legal, tax or accounting obligations. Retention periods may differ by data type and legal requirement. Information that is no longer reasonably required will be deleted, anonymized or securely isolated where deletion is not immediately possible.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, objection to, or portability of certain personal information, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights may be subject to lawful exceptions.

11. Children's privacy

ResourcePilot is not intended for children. We do not knowingly offer accounts to persons under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information contrary to this Policy, please contact us.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the platform, service providers, legal requirements or our data practices. The effective date above identifies the current published version. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
